De Zaanse Schans in February

Here we are walking down the main drag in De Zaanse Schans, a museum which has a small piece of an old Dutch town (Zaandam) along the river De Zaan. As we walk along you see mills in the background. The closest mill, a small one, is the mustard mill De Huisman (The Houseman). As we walk along, the bright green mill (color of Zaanse mills and houses) closest is the sawmill De Gekroonde Poelderberg (The Crowned Poelderberg), which is one of the mills we’ll be visiting on the tour!
